Hello,
Congratulation for your great tool! I started to use it a few days ago and it is very usefull .
However, it would be nice if the 'Verify' features had an option to indicate if files missing from the .ecc file(s) were found in the 'Data files' directory.

Using the Verify mode, one can compare the status of the original data files vs what they should be, according to the .ecc file(s).
If a new data file is added to the data files directory or sub-directories, the next Verify batch will not detect that a new files was added but report that the data files directory is in sync with the .ecc file(s), which can lead to confusion.
I would suggest to add a feature (with a new command switch) to notify the user if this happens. |

ICE ECC do not check new files, because ICE ECC know nothing about them. ICE ECC check/verify/recover only list of files stored inside .ecc files. It's work like usual archiver, like WinZip or WinRAR. Then you unpack archive, archiver do not check there are or not additional files in data directory. ICE ECC work the same way.
Theoretically is possible to add this is check. For me is unclear why this is feature need. |

i think TS want's a potential 'data recovery' usage for ice ecc...
wich is in fact very nice idea...
maybe ice ecc could ask the user if he/she want's to add the new data to the ecc file.. or maybe remove them from the folders... so they match the ecc check again |
