How can I change my default ICE reader library directory to a cdrom drive letter?
In this way I can have several CD's containing different collections of ibk books.
Thanks. _________________ “Muddy water, let stand - becomes clear” - Lao Tzu |

This is not good idea. ICE Reader store all book related information inside .ibk files. Opening what books directly from CD mean serious problems with updating information. I recommend you to copy files to HDD.
But anyway, you can use any directory as library directory. Refer to help file: FAQ - Multi user configurations. But remeber, ICE Reader must have rights for writing in this is directory. |

I opened a DOS window,
then CD to C:\Program Files\ICE Book Reader Professional Retail
Doing a DIR I see the program ICEReaderRetail.exe but not the program
ICEReader.exe as indicated in the FAQ.
then I type:
ICEReaderRetail /BOOKS_PATH=F:\ICE_Books
It loads ICE reader and I see my books in F:\ICE_Books but
when I close ICE reader and restart ICE reader using the Windows GUI rather than DOS command prompt it cannot find my books in the F:\ICE_Books directory.
How do I tell Windows to permanently change the path to the books?
Where can I found out about other DOS command line parameter options
for ICE reader?

Just make new shortcut, and specify in path instead of
"C:\Program Files\ICE Book Reader Professional Retail\ICEReaderRetail.exe"
this is path
"C:\Program Files\ICE Book Reader Professional Retail\ICEReaderRetail.exe" /BOOKS_PATH=F:\ICE_Books
This is will make permanent change.
